A milestone in my work: Introducing Thermalist® Studio
Waitlist is open at thermalist.com
For many years I have studied how cold and heat exposure influence human metabolism and the nervous system.
But my interest in metabolism actually started much earlier.
When I was 12 years old, my mum was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Together we began changing lifestyle habits, and within six months she became medication-free and has remained so ever since.
That experience stayed with me. It sparked a deep curiosity about how the body regulates itself, adapts to its environment, and how lifestyle can influence health outcomes.
It eventually led me to study metabolism, cold and heat exposure, and nervous system regulation as a scientist.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of sharing this research around the world on major podcasts, at conferences and summits, and through training practitioners internationally. A central focus of my work has been helping raise the standards in this field, ensuring that contrast therapy is practiced safely and with meaningful physiological benefits.
But research alone is not enough.
For science to truly benefit people, it needs to live in practice.
Today I’m announcing an important step toward my mission to help 1% of the world learn how to lower stress in their lives.
I’m opening the first Thermalist® Studio in Los Angeles.
Thermalist® Studio in Los Angeles
Please share the news with your friends in Los Angeles
Thermalist is not a spa, and it’s not simply a cold plunge studio.
It is a science-based system of thermal practices designed to help regulate the nervous system and lower stress through guided, layered programs grounded in research.
These programs combine deliberate exposure to heat and cold with practices that support nervous system regulation, helping people work with their physiology.
For me personally, this studio represents a significant milestone. It brings together many years of research, teaching, and collaboration in this field.
But it is also part of a much larger vision:
to help translate scientific knowledge about metabolism and stress regulation into practices that people can experience in everyday life.
The Los Angeles studio will be the first place where people can experience Thermalist® in practice.
Founding memberships are now open.

Thank you for following and supporting this work over the years.
